Data files are created in data directory. The structure of data files is not documented and may change in the next version.
| blockcache |
Block cache. Filters block access to certain resources as a result of
connecting to the host, fetching, and parsing content. This file
accelerates the process by remembering previously blocked pages.
Next time the resource is requested there is no need to connect to the
host and fetch the resource. When filter or whitelist configuration changes, blockcache is deleted (pages blocked using previous configuration may not have to be blocked anymore). |
| categorycache | Content category cache. Contains domains recently categorized by vocabulary analysis. |
| formcache | Form entry history. Used to accumulate data for automatic form filling. |
| proxies | Information about proxy servers' availability. See Forwarding. |
| state | Application state that needs to be preserved between invocations. |
| trafficyyyymmdd | Day's traffic. |
