Removing
Foxy does not pollute Windows registry or system directories.
All you have to do in order to remove it is:
- Uninstall the service (if installed as a service).
- Turn off HTTP proxying for your browser.
- Delete Foxy files.
Uninstalling the service
| foxy -t | Stop the service (if it's running as a service). |
| foxy -u | Uninstall the service (if installed). |
Or just use whatever tools you normally use to stop/uninstall services.
Turning off HTTP proxying
If you were using Foxy with Microsoft products:
-
In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
-
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
-
Uncheck the Use a proxy server checkbox.
For other browsers please consult your manuals.
